Tom Stipthout was born on April 29, 1975 in Kapellen (Belgium), a small sleeping town next to Antwerp. Growing up was easy and all about playing guitar and listening to his older brother’s records. When other teenagers listened to 80’s hitparade music he was getting into Bruce Springsteen, Lou Reed, Bonnie Raitt, Billy Joel, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, The Band, Joni Mitchell, Carole King, James Taylor...and playing along on his first guitar...learning those songs and eventually playing them wherever he could. It awoke the two things he would later turn to : playing the guitar and loving great songs...
